The President of the Student Union in the organization, Mr. Salaudeen Sodiq, clarified that the strike had upset the scholarly projects of more than 1,500 understudies.

Individuals from the Colleges of Legal and Allied Institutions Academic Staff Union, Senior Staff Union of Colleges of Education in Nigeria and Non-Academic Staff Union of the Kwara State, CAILS part, were among the striking specialists.
The union individuals said the strike was as an aftereffect of the Kwara State Government's inability to state when it would pay rates it owed the specialists. It guaranteed that the laborers had not been paid for 10 months.
The laborers said the notice strike would proceed till Friday.
Kwara State Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed, told writers that he was disheartened by the disappointment of laborers to get their qualifications.
