President Muhammadu Buhari has affirmed the arrangement of his Special Adviser on Planning, Mr Ben Akabueze, as the new Director General of the Budget Office of the Federation.
The arrangement was made open on Thursday in an announcement marked by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr Femi Adesina.
"Mr Akabueze assumes control from Mr Tijani Mohammed Abdullahi who will now serve as Special Adviser to the President on Planning and will keep on working with the Minister of Budget and National Planning," the announcement read.
Both Mr Akabueze and Mr Abdullahi joined the Ministry of Budget and National Planning in February this year.
"Their redeployment is a piece of a progressing exercise went for further re-situating the Ministry to successfully convey on its center command," the announcement read.
